IWD x Capitalism.

I had these made for a Rally project in 2019. If you want them you can download them via the big button at the bottom of this post.

It was very important to me that they didn’t have the Rally logo on them.

So they don’t.

IWD seems to have been co-opted by brands to show how ‘purpose’ led and kind they are.

But here’s the thing, tweeting an IWD message doesn’t smash the patriarchy. Living your values is more impactful than tweeting them.

So, try this out. When you see the inevitable flurry of Canva led solidarity on March 8th. Go to the government website that lists the gender pay gap for companies and find out if the org with the funky graphics is walking the walk.
